GMGN guide: wallet tracking, token research and trading fees
GMGN combines token data, wallet activity and trading. Learn how to find a token, read its holder and liquidity information, distinguish tracking from copying, and check a trade’s costs.
Open GMGN
From blockchain data to trade execution
A token page describes an asset; a wallet page shows an address’s history and holdings; trading tools handle purchases, sales and automated orders. Tracking a wallet observes its activity, while copy trading creates a transaction in the follower’s account.
Platform comparison ↓GMGN at a glance
Analytics, tracking and trading have different roles. Features depend on the selected network and account-connection method.
| Platform | Data and services | Trading costs | Open GMGN |
|---|---|---|---|
| Token discovery, wallet analytics, tracking and on-chain trading | Published platform fee: 1% per trade; network costs are separate | Open GMGN |

GMGN
Open GMGNGMGN presents public blockchain activity through charts, token lists, address activity and trading statistics. Market information sits alongside the trade panel, with web, app and Telegram tools forming parts of the platform.
- Main features
- New and trending tokens, PnL analytics, Wallet Tracker, Wallet Radar and copy trading
- Access environments
- Web, app and Telegram tools; external-wallet trading and accounts created within the platform have different structures.
Wallet analysis terms
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| PnL | Calculated profit and loss on trades |
| Wallet tracking | Display of an address’s activity |
| Copy trading | Creating trades based on another account’s activity |
Token discovery and market pages
New Pair and Trending organize tokens by market age and trading activity. Their data includes volume, transaction count, price changes and holder count. Age describes how long a market has existed, Liq denotes liquidity, and Market Cap describes token market capitalization.
A token page combines a price chart, buying and selling activity, recent transactions and holder information. Its contract address identifies the asset on the corresponding network. Market data and token-page components
Networks covered by GMGN
GMGN’s current introduction names Solana, BNB Chain, Base and Ethereum. Tokens, liquidity pools and wallets appear in the context of their respective networks.
| Network | Native asset | Data scope |
|---|---|---|
| Solana | SOL | Solana tokens and wallets |
| BNB Chain | BNB | Tokens and pools on the network |
| Base | ETH | Base tokens and addresses |
| Ethereum | ETH | Ethereum tokens and addresses |
A native asset differs from the individual tokens traded on a network. Data coverage and automation features also vary between networks.
Wallet analytics, PnL and Wallet Radar
A wallet page displays recent trades, current holdings, profit and loss, and an address’s recorded win rate. Realized PnL relates to closed trades; unrealized PnL describes changes in the value of remaining holdings.
Wallet Radar examines relationships between several tokens and the addresses active in them, presenting shared wallets in one view. Smart Money is the platform’s classification based on a wallet’s trading history. Wallet information and Wallet Radar
Wallet tracking and copy trading
Wallet Tracker displays purchases, sales and activity changes for followed addresses. Web, app and associated bot alerts report events from that tracked list.
Copy trading uses a source wallet’s activity to create a separate order. Purchase size, selling behavior and take-profit or stop-loss rules are among its parameters. Execution price and costs belong to the new order and can differ from those of the source wallet’s transaction. Tracking structure and copy-trading mechanics
Open GMGNHolder metrics and token-contract indicators
GMGN uses holder counts, large-address concentrations and token-creator wallet activity in its asset analysis. These describe token distribution and address behavior.
Contract checks display indicators such as minting capability, ownership-renouncement status, burned liquidity and honeypot detection. They are automated observations about contract and market characteristics, with a different scope from a comprehensive project audit. Contract indicators and indicator definitions
Account structure and trading tools
GMGN access routes include Telegram, Phantom and app-based login. External-wallet trading differs from using Phantom to create a custodial platform account; the latter creates new addresses for that account.
The trade panel includes immediate purchases and sales, price-dependent orders and automated selling rules. Automation availability depends on account type and network. Account and wallet structure and the trade panel
GMGN fees and transaction-execution costs
The fee documentation states a 1% platform charge per trade. This differs from network costs: gas pays for blockchain execution, while priority fees and tips cover prioritization and submission on applicable routes.
Pool or token-launchpad charges can also form part of a transaction’s route cost. Slippage is the permitted execution-price movement relative to a quote, rather than a fixed GMGN commission. Official fee and execution-setting structure
How to enter a platform
Open the platform with the entry button on this page. Choose a network and search by the token contract address. The token page shows liquidity, volume and wallet activity. To trade, enter an amount and acceptable slippage, then check the final quote.
