Buying gold on installments: Charisma and Wallgold compared

Gold installments divide payment between an initial amount and later repayments. Charisma offers gold, silver and copper plans; Wallgold offers melted-gold installments. Initial charges, total cost and asset access differ between the two models.

Where Charisma and Wallgold differ

Charisma starts with an investment plan for the selected metal. Wallgold has a dedicated melted-gold installment service. Both advertise 3-, 6- and 12-month terms, but Charisma’s down payment and Wallgold’s initial service charge are different types of payment.

How each platform works

The investment section offers a metal plan and installment purchase. The gold plan is described as a life-insurance investment product linked to 24-karat gold. Silver and copper have separate installment routes, so the account is not limited to gold.

Assets and repayment
Order amount and repayments recorded in the account
Initial costs and access to the asset
The gold installment page specifies a 40% down payment. The purchased investment remains pledged until full settlement. Financing charges and each plan’s details belong to the order.

Wallgold has a separate installment service for melted gold. The purchase price and payment schedule are established when the order is placed. This is distinct from paying cash for gold or borrowing against gold already owned.

A service charge and fees are collected at the start. The first installment falls due 30 days after credit activation. The gold remains pledged until repayment is complete.

How an installment gold purchase works

A cash purchase requires the full price immediately. An installment purchase uses credit for part of the price, creating future payments and restrictions on access to the asset.

The purchase value, credit principal and total repayment are different figures. A down payment reduces the portion financed. The installment total may include financing costs as well as principal.

Buying on installments also differs from buying a little gold each month. Monthly purchases create new orders at each month’s price. Installments repay one existing purchase.

What “no check or guarantor” means

The asset being purchased can itself secure repayment. Removing an outside guarantor does not remove collateral: part of the account balance can remain unavailable for ordinary sale or withdrawal until the agreement ends.

Charisma markets its installment service without checks or external guarantors. Wallgold’s purchased gold serves as collateral. Account registration, identity verification and the terms of the selected service still apply.

Does no down payment mean no cash upfront?

No down payment toward the asset price is different from no initial payment at all. Credit may cover the purchase price while a service charge is collected separately at the start.

Charisma’s published gold model requires part of the price upfront. Wallgold describes an initial service charge and fees. A no-down-payment description alone therefore does not establish the cash needed to start.

A worked repayment example

Adding every payment reveals more than the monthly amount alone. This illustration is hypothetical, not a platform quote or tariff.

Worked example components
ItemAmount
Cash purchase value100 million tomans
Initial payment toward the price40 million tomans
Illustrative installmentsSix payments of 11 million tomans: 66 million in total
Total paid in this example40 + 66 = 106 million tomans, assuming no separate charges

The extra cost over the cash price is 6 million tomans. Any separate service or processing charge increases that total. Dividing the financed principal by the number of months alone does not establish the actual installment.

Article amounts are in tomans. An order screen using rials shows ten times the toman amount: 100 million tomans equals one billion rials.

Trading fees versus financing costs

A cash-trading commission, a credit charge and an installment service fee are different tariffs. A small commission displayed beside a cash buy/sell order does not describe the total cost of financing a purchase over several months.

Total paid consists of the initial payment, all installments and separate charges. A down payment applied to principal buys part of the asset; a service fee adds to the cost.

No fabrication charge does not mean no financing cost. Fabrication relates to the gold product, while financing and service charges relate to how the purchase is paid for. Similar monthly installments can therefore conceal different total costs.

Purchase limits: one billion or three billion tomans?

Charisma’s separate gold, silver and copper installment pages each advertise a one-billion-toman ceiling. The three-billion figure used to describe the combined offering refers to three plans, rather than a single gold order.

Wallgold’s dedicated installment FAQ describes a range of 10–400 million tomans. Its homepage and other products may advertise different limits; the amount available in the specific service and account establishes usable credit for that order.

An advertised plan limit is not guaranteed credit for every applicant. The purchase value also differs from credit advanced when part of the price is covered by the buyer’s initial payment.

Buying silver on installments with Charisma

Charisma has a separate silver plan with its own installment purchase route. This creates a silver-plan order rather than buying gold first and converting it afterward.

The service advertises 3-, 6- and 12-month periods. The order amount, initial payment and repayment schedule relate to that silver purchase. Silver prices move independently of gold; a similar payment method does not imply the same investment result.

Charisma’s copper installment option

Copper also has a dedicated installment page and purchase route. Selecting the copper plan establishes an order for that investment product. It is different from a wholesale purchase of sheet metal, cable or copper for industrial use.

A lower price per gram than gold does not itself make a financed copper purchase cheaper. The total purchase amount and credit costs still determine the repayments.

Immediate delivery versus release from collateral

A recorded balance is different from immediate physical delivery. An asset securing credit may remain frozen. Release from collateral does not automatically arrange shipment of a bar or other physical product.

Wallgold describes access to the purchased gold after repayment; physical collection is a separate service. Charisma’s purchase concerns an investment plan. A gold-plan name or an equivalent weight does not by itself promise immediate delivery of a bar.

What happens if an installment is late?

When the asset secures repayment, a missed installment can affect that asset. Charisma describes selling part of pledged holdings to collect an overdue installment. Wallgold describes late charges and a subsequent cancellation and settlement process.

A settlement refund is not simply the sum of payments made. The current asset value, outstanding debt and contractual charges also matter. A gold-price move does not automatically remove the obligation to pay.

Cash or installments: what changes?

A cash purchase avoids financing costs but requires the whole amount immediately. Installments spread payment over time while introducing debt, costs and restrictions on the asset. Both total cost and payment timing matter to the comparison.

A gold-price rise increases the asset’s value; a fall reduces it. Fixed installments do not prevent price losses or create guaranteed profit. Financing costs also form part of the result.

A buyer wanting jewelry to take home today has a different objective from someone entering a secured investment plan. The asset type and access date are part of the comparison.

Orders and payment schedules

An order records the account verification, metal plan and purchase amount. It displays the initial payment, installment dates and service charges. Confirmation adds the payment schedule and holding status to the account.

Questions about installment gold purchases

Where can I buy gold on installments?

Charisma and Wallgold offer online routes. Charisma uses a metal investment plan, while Wallgold has a dedicated melted-gold installment service.

Does no check or guarantor mean no collateral?

No. The purchased asset can secure repayment. Identity verification, collateral restrictions and the obligation to repay still apply.

Can a no-down-payment offer still require money upfront?

Yes. An initial service charge differs from a down payment applied to the asset price. Removing one does not necessarily remove the other.

Do installments rise when gold becomes more expensive?

A fixed repayment schedule is established using the order’s purchase price and terms. Market-price changes affect the asset’s value, which is different from the debt amount.

How do I calculate the total installment purchase cost?

Add the initial payment, every installment and any separate charge. Comparing that total with the cash value of the same order shows the extra cost.

Is the cash-trading commission the financing rate?

No. A cash-trading commission, an initial service charge and financing costs are different items. A cash purchase rate does not establish the total installment cost.

Does Charisma also offer silver and copper on installments?

Yes. Each has a separate installment route. Selecting a metal creates an order and payment schedule for that plan.

Does Charisma’s three-billion figure mean three billion in gold?

It describes the combined advertised ceilings of gold, silver and copper plans. A single plan limit differs from the combined offering, and usable account credit depends on the order terms.

Can installment gold be delivered physically on the same day?

A recorded balance does not establish immediate delivery. Pledged assets have access restrictions and physical collection can involve a separate process.

Does buying gold on installments guarantee a profit?

No. Gold prices can fall while the debt and financing costs remain. The result depends on the asset’s value and all purchase costs.

Is installment buying different from borrowing against gold?

Yes. Installment credit finances a new asset purchase. A gold-backed loan uses an existing holding as collateral for borrowing.

Does early repayment automatically arrange physical delivery?

No. Debt settlement, collateral release and a delivery request serve different purposes. The order’s contract determines early-settlement and release terms.
